Tina Tierney Talks on Health based on her personal journey with Wegeners Vasculitis. From her experiences, research, and doctors she shares what she learned about alternative remedies.
I traveled to over 50 countries and I lived to eat. My quest was to find the best restaurants in each country and the best gourmet coffee. I became a world cuisine cooking teacher and spent years perfecting ethnic recipes. In August 2006 I could hardly walk and ended up in the hospital for 6 weeks. This greatly impacted my "Live to Eat" crusade and transformed my motto into "Eat To Live Well". Thus a new quest was born, How to make the food taste great without cooking it. I took several raw food classes and religiously attended raw food potucks to practice raw food preparation and get new recipes. Getting steroid induced diabetes made it essential to eat foods that could reverse the diabetes and help me heal. I now look at food for what it can do for me; will it give me energy or leave me tired, can it take away inflammation or improve my clarity, vision, and prevent diabetes? I learned so much about causes of illness and disease, what supplements to take, how to balance your ph, triggers of auto-immune, and essential vitamin and mineral supplements, as well as lifestyle changes to get healthy.
